Want to commission an artwork?

I am open for doing commissions. You can send me a request for a commission using the button below. I will read the request as soon as possible and get back to you. We will discuss this further via email. There is no guarantee that I will take the commission if I feel I cannot do it. If we come to an agreement, half the price of the piece will be paid up front, and the second half upon satisfactory completion.

Guides for commissions.

  • No reproduction of another artist’s work.

  • Photos you have taken can be painted, either elements from it or the photo in its entirety.

  • Photos taken from the web can be used as inspiration, but will not be painted in its entirety.

  • Half the price will be paid upfront and the other half upon satisfactory completion.

  • The client and the artist will make an agreement before any payments are made.

  • If an agreement cannot be made, there will be no charge.

Animal Portrait

Here is an example of a commission I did for a freind. She wanted me to paint a picture of her cats, and sent me some photos to use. And she wanted a landscape with an interesting sky as a background.

I picked the photos I liked best and drew some sketches to get a composition she liked, and then I started the painting. She also wanted me to remove the collars from the cats

Here are the pictures he sent, and the final result below.

Single Covers

I did a a couple of Single covers for the artist Kalekezi, for the songs Skyggene i Øynene and Går på Fjell.

For both of these songs, I was given the song in advance and was given free reign to make sketches. I made a lot of different sketches, which we later discussed to figure out exactly what would work best.

For “Går på Fjell” they had an idea of what should be included in the final painting. Those ideas became starting points for my sketches.

Portraits

I have also done a few portraits. The first one is a portrait of a friend who asked me to recreate a picture of her she sent to me.

Below is a portrait I have made of myself. It is a more traditional portrait with head and shoulders, but the colors are extremely saturated.
